Strax Networks makers of the enterprise augmented reality media and messaging platform, StraxAR, has announced the launch of a next-gen functionality for NFTs by unlocking AR experiences and interactive calls to action directly on the NFT.
The StraxAR platform is now available for musicians, artists, filmmakers, etc., and will allow them to build augmented reality experiences triggered by the NFTs.
The StraxAR platform carries the digital world and the physical world of entertainment, visual art, retail, and music by augmenting digital content on a physical object. For a brand, an artist, a platform, or a marketer, the promotional opportunities through straxing give a direct, meaningful, and immediate connection with consumers and fans globally.
The StraxAR NFT platform extension also offers a broader opportunity for creators globally to easily and swiftly reach the next creative level by combining augmented reality experiences with their NFTs for an ever-changing, interactive, and immersive and experience.
An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a digital asset that can be used to represent a variety of tangible and intangible assets, like digital and conventional artwork, music, film, in-game items.
StraxAR’s NFT component will allow creators to create an engaging user experience by defining and identifying augmented reality triggers in any supported Non-Fungible Token. These AR triggers will activate augmented reality events through the StraxAR Mobile App, which is available on iOS and Android.
“The StraxAR platform already unlocks a remarkable world of supplemental and relevant content. Adding the ability for all creators to augment their NFTs with AR content opens new doors of expression between the artist and the owner of the NFT.” – Eric Singleton, Co-founder, and CTO, StraxAR.
“We are tremendously excited to make this announcement. StraxAR will now be able to fuse music, video, and artwork to an NFT for a unique spatial computing experience. This technology mix can further immortalize these works on the blockchain for years to come.” – Alan Mariotti, CSO, Strax Networks.
