Gibson has recently launched a guitar app that the company states “the only guitar app you need.” Gibson partnered with Zoundio, the Swedish music technology company, to develop the new Gibson guitar app available for iOS and Android. The Gibson app is packed with tools for guitar players. It has songs to jam along with, virtual access to Gibson guitar technicians, Gibson TV platform, and AR guitar learning experiences.

The Gibson app is divided into three components: learning, playing, and tuning. The app is built for all kinds of guitar players right from beginners to advanced.

The app comes with “Audio AR” which is the thread through much of the app’s learning aspect. All a user requires is a guitar, the guitar app, and a pair of headphones to follow the lessons. The Gibson app will provide interactive step-by-step guidance and the players can learn at their own pace and track their progress.

The app

Guitar players can learn to play and jam to songs of some of the top-rated guitarists like B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Santana, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, The Beatles, Dolly Parton, among others.

Gibson is offering the guitar app for free on a trail basis. Users can download the Gibson app for FREE from Google play store or App Store. Users will have to choose paid subscription services either $14.99 per month or $89.99 annually to unlock the complete AR experience of the app.
