This winter, the American toy, board game, and media conglomerate Hasbro is gearing up to release a new Transformers VR game for PSVR and SteamVR devices.
The game was unveiled at the Hasbro Pulse Con, the company’s virtual event featuring new announcements. The company showcased the title, ‘Transformers Beyond Reality,’ with an exclusive first look and an announcement trailer at the event.
The company is collaborating with Metaphor Interactive to develop the game. Some Twitter and Facebook accounts associated with the game have described it as a “thrilling arcade-style first-person shooter VR game.” However, very few details are officially known at this point.
Nevertheless, this isn’t the only Transformers VR title in the works at the company. The other one, called Transformers: VR Invasion, is a location-based VR experience available in the US, UK, and Australia. However, a release date for the same hasn’t been announced yet.
The company has also partnered with Niantic for a new mobile AR game titled Transformers: Heavy Metal. The game is currently in the soft launch phase, with a beta version being tested in New Zealand and the Philippines.
