The Swedish multinational networking and telecommunications company, Ericsson, has been named EE’s network partner for The Green Planet AR Experience, powered by EE 5G.
The Green Planet AR Experience draws inspiration from The Natural History Unit landmark series, The Green Planet, and takes participants through an immersive journey into the secret kingdom of plants.
The organization is setting up a 5G private network and Edge Computing infrastructure in Central London to deliver remarkable AR graphics in real-time to event attendees. The visitors will go through six digitally enhanced worlds, including rainforests, freshwater and saltwater worlds, the changing seasons, and desert landscapes, concluding with the human story and highlighting how we can bring positive change.
The experience will go live at 55 Regent Street on 11th February 2022 and demonstrate the low latency, high reliability, and high bandwidth capabilities of the 5G Standalone in the UK.
